Sean Pierce, the new CEO of LOGISTEC since January 2024, is a dynamic and accomplished leader driving the company’s strategic vision and growth. With a proven track record in the industry, Sean brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role.

Prior to joining LOGISTEC, Sean held prominent executive positions in leading logistics companies, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and an unwavering commitment to success. His deep understanding of the industry, coupled with his innovative mindset, has consistently propelled organizations to achieve remarkable results.

Sean is also the CEO of P5 Infra LLC, a company he founded in 2017 as a direct investment vehicle connecting institutional investors to opportunities in port, rail, and other transportation infrastructure assets. He also serves on the Board of Directors of EQT owned, Lazer Logistics.

From 2011 to 2016, Sean Pierce served as the CEO of Yilport Holding, a leading international terminal operator based in Istanbul, Turkey. During his tenure, Mr. Pierce orchestrated a remarkable transformation of their multipurpose terminals, implementing a centralized services and management structure that propelled the company to new heights. Under Mr. Pierce’s leadership, Yilport Holding witnessed a series of innovative and highly profitable initiatives across their ports and logistics holdings. Notably, he spearheaded a strategic portfolio of terminal acquisitions and concessions, encompassing a total of seventeen terminals and logistics companies across diverse locations. These included prominent terminals in Turkey, Sweden, Norway, Malta, Portugal, Spain, Peru, and Ecuador, further positioning Yilport Holding as a global force in the industry.

With a diverse and illustrious career, Sean Pierce spent nine years as the Vice President for Business Development at Tideworks Technology, a leading provider of software and hardware solutions for the maritime and rail sectors. Tideworks Technology, a subsidiary of SSA Marine (Carrix), is renowned for its innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency in the industry.

Prior to his tenure at Tideworks Technology, Mr. Pierce built a strong foundation in the terminal operating sector. For the first twelve years of his career, he held various management positions at TraPac Limited, the esteemed US terminal operator subsidiary of Mitsui OSK Lines, a prominent Japanese shipping company. His contributions at TraPac Limited played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s success and establishing its reputation for excellence.

Mr. Pierce has a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from Washington State University, and an Executive Juris Doctor Degree from Concord Law School and is a private pilot.
