Texas E. Howard IV (Tex) is the Chief Financial Officer of LOGISTEC. He has a strong track record of optimizing complex operations and driving improvements in financial performance in the logistics sector. From manufacturing and distribution to capital management and end-to-end supply chain transformation, Tex leverages his extensive experience in strategic planning to support the Company’s growth initiatives and strengthen its market position.
Tex is a strategic, collaborative, and operationally focused executive with a proven track record of developing, implementing and executing corporate strategies that drive growth and productivity. Before his role at LOGISTEC, Tex was Chief Operating Officer of American Industrial Transport, one of the largest railcar repair and leasing companies in North America. Prior to that, for over 15-years, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Cathcart Rail, Appalachian Railcar Services and several other private equity owned businesses.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Georgia State University and an MBA from the University of Notre-Dame. He is SixSigma Greenbelt certified, holds the CMA/CPA designation and is a Level II CFA candidate.
