Superintendent

The superintendent's responsibilities are to plan and coordinate ship and/or terminal loading and unloading operations for non-containerized general cargo handling, containerized cargo or bulk cargo. To so, the superintendent has to manage the work teams under his/her responsibility and ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications
Experience in supervising unionized employees in stevedoring field, cargo handling, construction or any other related fields combined with a strong leadership and judgment are required. Depending on the location, some ports require a French-English bilingualism.

Clerk

The clerk's responsibilities are to prepare time sheets of longshore workers, to answer phone calls, classify documents and mail, and perform data entry of the ship's files.

Qualifications
A college or vocational diploma combined with computer skills in Word and Excel. Depending on the location, some ports require a French-English biligualism.

The administration of Logistec is done at the head office in Montréal. The positions available may be for the following departments:
